New online casinos by country
2 Countries with a page on our list, each with the casinos that accept players there
Pick a country below. Each country page ranks the casinos on our list that do not block that country, explains the law on online casinos there and says how much risk you take at an offshore site.
The law differs more than the casinos do. The same offshore brand can accept players from a country that licenses its own casinos and from one that bans them, so read the law section before the ranking.

New Zealand licenses online casinos locally
The casinos listed here are licensed offshore, not by the local regulator, so local player protection does not cover them. Check the law and your own risk before you play.

Countries
Every country page
Each page shows the casinos that do not block the country, the law on online casinos there and the risk of playing offshore.
In depth
Why the country matters
Online casino law is set country by country. Some countries license operators locally, some only allow a state monopoly, and some ban online casinos outright. An offshore licence from Curaçao or Malta does not make a casino legal where you live.
Casinos also block countries in their terms. Opening an account from a blocked country, or with a VPN, breaks the terms and can cost you your winnings.
New Zealand
New Zealand licenses online casinos under the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026. From 1 December 2026, operators that have not applied for a New Zealand licence must stop offering online casino games here. Our news on the regulated market explains the change.
Licences you will see
| Licence | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Malta Gaming Authority | EU regulator with a public register and a complaints process |
| Isle of Man | Well-regarded regulator with a public licence list |
| Curaçao | Reformed licensing with a register; weaker protection than Malta |
| Kahnawake | Canadian regulator with a complaints process |
| Anjouan | Quick to obtain, little oversight |
| Costa Rica | A business registration, not a casino licence |
Payments by region
Payment methods follow the market: POLi and cards in New Zealand, Interac in Canada, Trustly and bank transfers across Europe, and crypto at many offshore casinos everywhere. Choose a method that also pays out, and an account currency that matches your bank to avoid conversion fees.
Questions
Casinos by country: questions
Is an offshore casino legal where I live?
It depends on your country's law, not the casino's licence. Each country page summarises the law and the risk.
Can I use a VPN to play at a casino that blocks my country?
No. It breaks the casino's terms, and the casino can close the account and keep any winnings when it checks your ID.
Can I play in my own currency?
Many casinos offer several account currencies. Our reviews list each casino's currencies, including NZD where offered.
Which licence protects players best?
Among the licences offshore casinos show, Malta and the Isle of Man offer the most protection. Curaçao has improved; Anjouan and Costa Rica offer little.
Is there a page for New Zealand?
New Zealand's law is covered in our news section, starting with the regulated market launch; every review states whether the casino accepts New Zealand.
Responsible gaming
Play only if you are 18+ and it stays fun
These rules apply on every page of this site. A young casino has less history to judge it by, so the limits matter more.
Adults only, everywhere
You must be 18 or older, and older in some countries. A casino can ask for ID before your first withdrawal, and new casinos often do.
Responsible gamingStart small with an unknown casino
Deposit an amount you would accept losing to a failed withdrawal, and request a small cash-out early to see how the casino handles it.
